Two WVUSC Players Make 1995 Girls Region 1 ODP Pool
July 18, 2008
Two WVUSC players were named to the 1995 Girls Region 1 Olympic Development Program (ODP) player pool this week, at the end of the Region 1 Camp.  The camp was attended by over 550 players from states as wide-ranging as Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and everywhere in-between.  Hannah Abraham and Gabi Mascaro, each of whom play for the WVUSC Shox Gold U13 Girls, were selected to the pool of 70 players who will train together for the next year.  This is a high honor, and it is believed that this is the first time that two WV players have been selected to the same pool in the same year.  Congratulations to both Hannah and Gabi!
