Three WVUSC teams won championships at the WV State Championship tournament, held in Beckley, WV, May 17-18.  The WVUSC U18 Girls defeated WVSC 2-1 to capture the U18 championship.  Meanwhile, the WVUSC Shox Gold U12 Girls were unopposed in the 11v11 bracket, and will therefore represent WV as the U12 Girls 11v11 champions at the Region 1 Tournament in Maine.  The WVUSC Vision U17 Girls team were declared champions in the U17 Girls Division.  In addition, the WVUSC Wild Things finished as runners-up in the U15 Girls Division, and the U16 Girls received the WVSA Sportsmanship Award, for their division.  Congratulations to all of the teams that competed!
