The WVUSC U15 Boys team will be holding a second tryout session on Sunday, December 7, 3:30pm-5:00pm, at Pro Performance.  After this tryout, selections will be made for an "A" team.  If there is enough interest, a "B" team will also be created.  Players who attended the first tryout session should also try and attend this session, if possible.  Any interested players should contact Mark Gutmann, WVUSC U15 Boys Team Manager, at gutmannfamily@aol.com.  Good luck to everyone who tries out!

The WVUSC U17 Boys team will be holding tryouts on Monday, November 24, 7:30pm-9:00pm, at Pro Performance.  The team will begin Winter training in January.  Any interested players should contact Roger Evans, WVUSC U17 Boys Team Manager, at roger.evans@ge.com.  Good luck to everyone who tries out!

The fifth WVUSC Winter Shoot-Out indoor tournament will be held the weekend of February 6-8, 2009, at Pro Performance, in Morgantown, WV.  U18 Boys and Girls divisions will play on Friday, February 6.  U12-U16 Boys and Girls divisions will play on Saturday, February 7, while U10-U12 Boys and Girls divisions will play on Sunday, February 8.  U13-U18 teams will play 7v7 on half of a field, while U10-U12 teams will play 5v5 on a quarter-field.  All games will played on Pro Performance's indoor turf field.  Rules and medical release forms will be available shortly.  The application form, which includes further information, can be downloaded here.

WVUSC is currently seeking sponsors to help support the running of the Club.  If you are interested in sponsoring the Club and helping us make soccer more affordable for our players, please contact Graham Peace, WVUSC President, at graham.peace@mail.wvu.edu.  Various possibilities exist, including having your logo placed on our webpage, sponsoring specific Club activities (e.g. scholarships, uniforms, clinics, etc.), or sponsoring specific teams.  Your help would be greatly appreciated!  All of WVUSC’s Board members and Team Managers are volunteers.
